The short version: this site doesn't track you.
No cookies, analytics or ads
Open-Hardware.org sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There are no embedded videos, social media widgets or third-party fonts. Everything the pages need is served from this domain.
The license chooser
The chooser on the homepage runs entirely in your browser. Your answers aren't stored or sent anywhere, and they're gone when you leave or reload the page.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use that data to build profiles of visitors. Cloudflare's own privacy policy describes how it handles that data.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your address with anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
